I was born in Salt Lake City Utah to Gordon and Jane Hanks.  I grew up in Holladay Ut and graduated from Olympus High School in 1995.  I swam and played water polo in high school.  After high school I went on a LDS mission to Moscow Russia (Now I always cheer for the Americans and the Russians in the Olympics).  I graduated with an Associates Degree in business from Salt Lake Community College and continued my education at the University of Utah.  I married Heather Newell of Orem on 9/9/99.  We have two children Hadlie Hanks (24 months) and Bronco Hanks (19 months).  There is nothing I like to do more than to play with dolls with my daughter, and wrestle with my son.

I learned how to clean carpets from my Dad.  He had a carpet cleaning business 35 years ago, and has stayed in the industry ever since.  I can remember cleaning our Pediatricians office when I was ten years old.  Thats when I knew I wanted to be a carpet cleaner for the rest of my life (j/k).  The wisdom and education my Dad has provided me with has really helped in my business.  He continues to help me with any questions or problems I come up with.  Carpet cleaning is now all we talk about at family functions.
